Juan Carlos Pacheco is a Senior Associate at IDEA Fund Partners, where he focuses on investing in transformative technology startups across the Southeast. He brings a rare combination of legal expertise, entrepreneurial experience, and venture capital knowledge to the firm, including prior roles as a Venture Fellow at Material Change Institute, an EIR Associate at NextGen Growth Partners, and a mentor at Techstars' AI Health accelerator and the Creative Destruction Lab. Before entering venture capital, Juan Carlos co-founded ExstoMD, a digital health startup using AI and evidence-based therapies to improve chronic disease management, and founded Pacheco Law Firm, which provides fractional general counsel services to startups and growing businesses.
