Travis Milks
Travis Milks is a Managing Partner and co-founder of Topmark Partners, a growth equity firm investing in technology-enabled companies across the United States. Based in Chapel Hill, Travis leads the firm’s operations and helps source, evaluate, and execute investments. He began his career as the first undergraduate intern at Stonehenge Capital, Topmark’s predecessor firm, before moving into technology investment banking at Morgan Keegan & Company and later returning to Stonehenge as an investor. He earned a B.S. in Finance with honors from the University of Tampa and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
With more than 20 years of direct investing experience, Travis has worked with companies across enterprise software, security technology, healthcare, and other technology-enabled sectors. He currently serves as a director or board observer for several Topmark portfolio companies, including Soundstripe, Thrive, Case Status, and Datasembly. Travis is also active in the Southeast’s entrepreneurial ecosystem as a board member of the Council for Entrepreneurial Development and an executive committee member and former chairman of the Florida Venture Forum.
